Why Would My Baby And I Need Chiropractic Care?
How Pediatric Chiropractic Can Prevent Colic and Other Issues
In this video, and now recorded podcast featured on “Healthy Births, Happy Babies” – Dr. Jay let’s me interview him on the importance of Chiropractic care for birthing parents and their new babies.
We highly recommend Chiropractic care to our families in all of our birth classes. As birth workers, we have seen the benefits time after time with so many different issues that are easily corrected. Chiropractic care during pregnancy has been proven to result in shorter labors with less pain. But did you know that babies can also benefit greatly from an adjustment right after birth? Yes they can!
An adjustment from a qualified, pediatric chiropractor, can correct misalignments caused from the labor process or from how your baby was delivered- vaginally, c section, forceps, or vacuum. Early adjustments can prevent and avoid issues that may show up within 6 weeks of birth – colic, latch & breastfeeding issues just to name a few.
In this recording, Jay explains the safety of adjustments for babies, what to look for and how to find a qualified Doctor. Dr. Jay even shows how an adjustment is done on his kids stuffed animal!
This episode will be well worth your time and please feel free to share the information with any of your pregnant friends and family members. So many babies suffer needlessly with issues that can be resolved with early adjusting.
